About me
I’m Dr. Róna Girvan –A GP, certified life coach, somatic coach and guide for high-achieving women ready to reclaim calm and clarity. I'm known as The Balance Doctor. In nature everything thrives when in balance and we as humans a re nature we need balance too not the juggling 100 balls type of balancing act but the deep internal balance of the body, mind and soul ie our hormones, nervous system and physiology.
I’ve walked the road of overachieving, people-pleasing and quietly crumbling behind the scenes.
When I hit my own point of burnout — questioning my work, my energy, my identity — I didn’t push harder.
I built a bridge to a new way of being, one deeply rooted in values, purpose, connection and love.
I used the very tools I now teach — my BALANCE Framework™ — to regulate my nervous system, reset my rhythms, and come home to myself with clarity and compassion. From that place, I created my own Balance Prescription™ and began living from a new balance script — one rooted in ease, alignment, and self-trust.
Now, I help others create their own unique Balance Prescription™ so they can return to calm, navigate stress, move through life’s crises with resilience — all while truly learning how to love, support, and honour themselves every step of the way.
I've been immersed in this work for over 16 years, studying the science of health, disease, lifestyle medicine, stress, healing, habits, yoga, nutrition and holistic health.
