About Me.

Hi, I’m Dr. Róna — a GP, Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner, certified Life and Health Coach, yoga teacher, somatic practitioner and mother.

But titles aside? I’m a woman who knows what it feels like to look strong on the outside while silently burning out inside.

 

For years, I was the high-achieving woman who thrived on starting new projects — taking on extra roles, responsibilities and an expert in pushing through.

I’d set my alarm early, squeeze in everything I needed to do presentations, workouts, food prep, what others expected all before 9am and then I get to work and go go go like there was a literal fire burning under me all day racing to keep up with my never-ending to-do list and then I'd come home and clean, sort and reorganise my home over and over again unless of course I was doing something for someone else that trumped EVERYTHING if someone else "needed" me. I took time for myself I'd get a facial or go to a spa but my mind was still on speed mode and I'd grow frustrated....real rest apart from this "scheduled care" was rare and honestly would usually end with me cleaning because jeez sitting relaxing with my mind...wasn't relaxing-I'll take distraction back thank you please.

 

It all looked perfect, I was in a stable job, I always had a partner, I looked on trend and was keeping myself trim and everyone around me happy. Underneath? I was exhausted, irritable, and honestly resentful. I was stuck in the 3 O’s — overgiving, overthinking, overdoing and the 3 P's

Proving. Performing. Pushing through.​ OOOPPPS!

I was an expert at ignoring my body’s signals. I’d wake up feeling anxious, try to “push through” with coffee, willpower and a heavy dose of distraction only to hit a crash by midday: brain fog, irritability, and a creeping sense of overwhelm. My energy was a rollercoaster, and no matter how much I checked off my list, I still felt like I was falling behind.

I was caught in the same pattern I’d always fought against. I kept pushing, but the stress was manifesting in physical symptoms—tight shoulders, digestive issues, and restless nights. I knew I needed a different approach.

One day, my now husband showed me real unconditional love (you'll hear all in the masterclass don't worry!), it felt so safe, so much of a homecoming I thought love over fear that has to be the way (life truth right there). I started getting more curious, more compassionate, more loving. 

 

That’s when I stopped pushing and started listening — to my body, my values, and my inner voice. I began implementing The Balance Prescription™, a simple, nervous system–aligned framework I developed for myself and now teach to women like you.

 

And everything changed.​​

Now, my days look different:

 

- Instead of rushing through mornings, I start easy, intentional and peaceful with a few minutes of mindful breathing or gentle movement that grounds me before the day begins.

- I set boundaries around my work, creating space for rest and connection — not just to check things off a list, but to truly feel present.

- I nourish my body with balance, not deprivation, choosing foods that energise me rather than drain me.

- I’ve learned to recognise my nervous system signals and respond with compassion, not guilt.

- And my relationships? they're authentic, loving, boundried and fulfilling no more people pleasing for love-NO THANK YOU!

 

The result?

I feel steady — like I’m gliding instead of crashing. I have sustained energy, a calm mind, and a deeper connection to my purpose. I no longer feel trapped in the cycle of burnout; instead, I feel empowered to show up as my best self—without sacrificing my health or happiness.
